Architecture with the Garden Hobbit Hole

When Ashley Yeates' apple tree died, he did not replace it, he enlisted the help of friend Alec and they built a Hobbit Hole.  Pictures below show different stages of construction, including the waterproofing of the little building as well as the small creature comforts this little hut affords.  By the way, the hole was dug by hand and Yeates tells us, in his blog, that it took a loot of determination and effort to to get to the bottom of it.
