Distinctive Style in Realistic Portrait Drawings

An artist that has a very distinctive voice, when it comes to creating portraits.
As well as drawing portraits, Swedish artist Maria Björnbom Öberg, is also a tattoo artist.  Today we are going to focus on her color pencils art.  Let me start by saying, that I love the skin tones and coloring, the way she is able to shade so many subtle layers of colors, to approximate a real person's skin.  On top of this, the addition of gold leaf and layering of colors in geometric shape, really make the final drawing pop and give her work a fresh and unique look about it.  Whilst looking up Öberg's work, I found her YouTube channel and an art supply swap she did with Baylee Jae.  Brief summery: one is in Sweden, the other one is in the USA, they each buy some art supplies and mail them to the other.  The challenge is to create art, with what you have been given.  Fantastic idea and wonderful execution on both sides.  I will not say more, as I don't want to spoil it, for the people that look it up.
