Dutch Artist Laurens van Gurp took time off after graduating from art school, to travel around the world. During this time, he soaked in so much information from different countries: cultures, customs and landscapes, both man-made and natural.
On his return, he used that valuable treasure trove, as a library of information to create his black and white illustrations.
There is a variety of different genres at play in this post. All architecture based, but some with fantasy or surreal undertones and others just straightforward architectural.
Architecture experienced, executed in a very different and interesting way, that will hopefully keep you entertained.
