Pencil drawings and digital art come together in an amazing way, in these portraits.
Adam Almahjoub creates the portrait, using traditional methods and then uses sketchbook pro (a free piece of software), to add the luminous highlights.
We have shown examples of this kind of technique before here on DesignStack. One that did it using colored pencils and the rest either not saying, or using software to enhance the results.
To me it doesn't matter how you get to the end piece, as much as the final result; this is what really impresses. That said, it adds that extra bit of admiration, when you think something so perfect and so good might have been achieved with digital art, and then you find out it was done with traditional methods.
I have added a couple of examples, showing the before and after the application of the software color enhancement. Enjoy these lovely drawings.
