I will let the words on Philip Harris's website introduce him: "Philip became inspired by illustration as a child studying his grandfather’s old sketchbooks around the family home. During university he inherited his granddad’s collection of dip pens and began experimenting with pen and ink, Becoming fascinated by crosshatching, pointillism and line-work."
It carries on saying he still draws using traditional methods, but has also embraced digital art.
The drawings I prefer are the sketchbook drawing studies. That is why they are at the top. That said I also love the owl in flight with that beautiful blue cross-hatching.
Great scenery and lovely detailing really make these drawings a joy to look at.
