Sammy is a self-taught Artist. His pieces seem to be a combination of watercolor paintings and fineliner detailing, for the fine linework.

First things first: The reason there are 2 separate and distinct drawing of the "Shakespeare And Co. in the Latin Quarter, Paris" is because it's a double fronted shop.

These are premises from all around the world. I have a bit of a confession to make... When put them next to the original place, I seem to favour the art rather that the photo of the actual place. Sammy manages to give his buildings a warm wonderful fantasy feel. They seem light up with a magical collection of hues, when compared to what exists in reality.
