Sergei Arhipov is the artist whom came up with and created all of the art on this page.
Surrealism at its best. Nine individual drawings which fit together like puzzle pieces, to tell a story.
The artist's website does not explain the significance of this illustration. It might have something to do with life? The progression from birth to death in a cyclical repeating way?
As I said, it's a guess. If you know different or if you have other ideas, please feel free to include them in the comments below.
The subject matter is not the only thing which impresses here. The lovely style of the depiction of the people whom bring this illustration to life, is something which adds a tremendous amount of character to the entire thing.
