A wonderful ensemble of animal drawings using Posca pens.
French designer and artist Florian Lecuyer aka dessinateur777 drew all of the animals you see on this page.
I like so much Lecuyer's style. The majority of the parts drawn/painted are done using little lines. If you enlarge the images, you will see what I mean by that. It's almost as if you are looking at two different finishes when you are zoomed in and out.
I am not sure what tweak you have to activate, when drawing, to make an animal look sweet, but Lecuyer does it with so many of the ones below.
Another post where theere is a lot to see and a lot to like. It would take too long to list them all out. I will mention the one drawing that is my absolute favourite. The others are my favourites, but this one is my absolute one. This is the drawing of the bird, the red squirrel and the mushroom. I guess it's meaning is open for interpretation. That said, my view is that they are both claiming the mushroom for their own and staring each other down to see who backs off first. Whilst this peaceful confrontation is going on, you can see the very many explosions of colour in the background.
There is just as much detailing in the other drawings in this post. Have a look and see what you think.
Ps. I gave the images some titles.
