Dru Blair describes himself as a Photorealist Artist and Publisher. In 1997 he decided to retire from his illustration work and start up the Blair School of Art, recognising teaching, as his true calling. At the moment the school concentrates on teaching airbrushing techniques, classes ranging from beginners to seasoned users. That said he is now looking at expanding the curriculum to encompass other mediums such as acrylic, digital, water colour, and more. In the post we have included a video interview with Blair and two step by step paintings animations. We have tried to give you a small feel for the range of paintings subjects he is a master in, below.
