A lot of contrast, in these futuristic illustrations, of what out cities' architecture might look like one day...
I haven't been able to find out much about K Kanehira, the important thing is that I found his drawings. As many illustrators of a (post apocalyptic) future, they seem to depict three stages of (architecture) co-existing at the same time. The modern building, the dilapidated and crumbling one and finally the simple old fashion construction. The use warm colors and traditional interiors, give these (drawings) a pleasant feeling and a sense of wanting to be a part of it. Enjoy this gentile stroll to the future, courtesy of Kanehira.
