Love the following quote by American Artist Tim Andraka: "Stay silly." It really encapsulates a state of mind, that allows people to enjoy the quirky things in life.
There is so much more to surreal art than to draw something "strange". There are also many subtle variations in the use of symbols, behind this kind of art. Each artist gives it their own stamp, depending on how they convey the message behind it.
Andraka is one of those artists, that injects funny undertones in his depictions of animals. The beaver machine, the surfing turtle and the Pterodactyl, are just some of the examples of what I am talking about.
