A window through time or...
Artist David Ambarzumjan works out of Germany.
A collection of paintings is called "Brushstrokes in Time" and this is the way it's explained on his site: "is about juxtaposing what was, what is and what may be, exploring different times and places to show how the force of nature and above all, how humanity shaped our earth."
Great concept and very effective way of conveying it to the viewer. Really makes you question what you are looking at: is it the past? A certain future, or a possible one?
Animals and nature, seem to be involved as much as we are in these time travelling visions. What we want to know is: which course is it going to follow? All we can hope for is that, if we ensure it doesn't happen, it turns out to be a beautifully surreal waking dream...
