Architectural Drawings and Watercolor Paint

00-Architectural-Art-Andrew-Weller-www-designstack-co
Very colorful and picturesque locations and paintings.

British Artist Andrew Weller combines an ink outline to a watercolor wash. That is how he gets the sharp lines of the ink and the deep colors from the paint. The lines are hand drawn and have a slight wave to them. It's what gives his work that beautifully rustic look.

Very interesting locations plus buildings, encountered by Weller and interpreted in his illustrations.

Plenty of sights to enjoy below in this midweek post. Enjoy the lovely art and your day.

  1. Watercolor is always nice. I haven't seen any that I didn't like.
It would be nice to see some people in these scenes. I feel adding some people and animals always brings a building setting to life.

    1. They really are nicely finished. And the use of ink and paint sharpens the detailing.
