Very colorful and picturesque locations and paintings.

British Artist Andrew Weller combines an ink outline to a watercolor wash. That is how he gets the sharp lines of the ink and the deep colors from the paint. The lines are hand drawn and have a slight wave to them. It's what gives his work that beautifully rustic look.

Very interesting locations plus buildings, encountered by Weller and interpreted in his illustrations.

    Watercolor is always nice. I haven't seen any that I didn't like.
    It would be nice to see some people in these scenes. I feel adding some people and animals always brings a building setting to life.

      They really are nicely finished. And the use of ink and paint sharpens the detailing.
