Geometrical Shapes in Ink Portraits

A fantastic style, which gives the human form a different perspective.

Noor Zahran creates art using different techniques. The drawings I have gathered here, show my favourite.

If you want to know a little more about the process and execution, have a look at drawings three to five below. Here you can see how the geometric shapes populate the silhouette of the person. Then, it's gradually filled in with the detailed contours of the body, clothing and face.

There is another aspect of Zahran's work which standsout and that is the shard explosion. It takes place on one side of the body. This effect injects motion and elevates a still illustration, to something between that and a moving image.
