Alvia Alcedo drew all of the mythical beings collected on this page.
Every time I visit Alcedo's site, I am always amazed by the warm welcome her creatures give every passing visitor.
The difficulty comes when you have to make a choice of what to include on DesignStack.
Amongst my favourites are the following: The deceptive simplicity of the designer form of the Raven dragon. The little raven birds meld with the imposing reptilian figure. Then, the colour transitions of the flying fish. They are accompanied by the lovely white outline that highlights every part of the fish's form. Then we have the sweet look on the fox's face. Those big round eyes looking at you with a tsunami of sweetness just about to crash into you.
There is so much more I could say about these and the rest of the drawings in this post. I will now leave you to make the acquaintance of the animal life inhabiting this page...
