Creatures are usually considered benign or malign. Monsters are mostly seen as a negative attribute. One that has no redeeming qualities and mostly has an insatiable thirst for blood. The beings in this post are the furthest you can get from that description. They are not only cute, they also associate with all sorts of other beings in a peaceful way.
I love their cute look and the fantastic poses they find themselves in. May does a magnificent job at rendering these creatures as wonderfully cuddly as it's humanly possible.
They are expressive. They show a depth only the very best of fantasy drawings have in common. It's mostly through the expressions and the interactions they have with other beings.
I don't know if this specie has a name. Nor if the individuals respond to a personalised and individual one. All that said, they would be perfect as stars of their own stories. An insight into their lives and relationships with all that is around them.
A chance now to enter this magical world full of characters that tell all sorts of stories. ones that your mind simply needs to tune into...
