Commercial designs inspired mostly by animals, plus a pumpkin and a phone.

We have featured Andrew's work before. It was nice to reacquaint myself with it. That is because you see actual traces of the inspiration in the finished product design.

I left the special one to the end. It's a set of trainers inspired by an orca and drawn using UV-sensitive markers. You get to see two images. One with and one without UV. The first one is really impressive. You get a nighttime view of the details lit up in all of their splendour.

My next choice is the budgie-inspired drone. The title prepares you for sweetness and that is exactly what you get when you see the illustration. You also see intermediate steps between the inspiration and the finished piece.

Following that is the turn of the Tundra Wolf chair. Firstly, gorgeous drawing of the wolf. Secondly, you can see where the features of the face are transponded (I am adapting a word into a verb that doesn't quite exist. I hope you get the meaning) on the shapes on the chair.

Now we come to my last mention. The Totoro chair. My Neighbor Totoro character from Studio Ghibli. The finished piece resembles the character a lot. In addition, the back is perfectly suited for storage. it also adds a strong structure to support the chair's and adds to its integrity.
