Zsuzsanna Mitten aka (Art by a mito mum) drew and painted all of the images you see on this page.  The reason for the name is to bring awareness to Mitochondrial disease.

I wanted to describe Mitochondrial disease first, as that is the most important part.

As far as the art is concerned, it couldn't be more charming or dreamlike.  Each one of the depictions could find pride of place in a book cover or illustrated story.

With architectural homes like these, the only thing you have to do is to populate them with beings and their stories, to complete the picture.  When the start-off point is so rich in fantasy and inspiration, it wouldn't be difficult to weave a story around it.
