A very colourful post today that sees both the artist and nature bring their best hues out to create flowers and trees.
Evgenya Babicheva drew and painted all of the art you see on this page.
Sketchbook illustrations of what nature does so well and effortlessly. From deep colours to peaceful places to enjoy them in. You can definitely adorn and lighten up your mind with the images you are about to see.
A choice of favourites is the easiest thing in the world, if the answer is all of them. If you ask me to choose 1 or a handful, well, that is when I would run into problems. Let's strike a deal: Instead of naming favourites, I will highlight some of the qualities I like the most and give examples in a selection of pieces.
Let's get started... The first aspect I like contains things I like. 1. The flower design in the first photo. That packed cluster of what I can imagine to be magnificently scented flowers. 2. The colours: Purple/lilac and blue. I like that side of the visible spectrum. So it definitely gets my vote. 3. The fact it's contained in a sketchbook or journal, in fact, anything presented in this format automatically gets points for me.
I would divide the trees into two sections. The first includes the lovely array of sheets painted in picture 4. There is such a gorgeous collection of tree species. A great way to familiarise yourself with many different types.
Then I would pick images 5 and 6 for their locations. One with a body of water in front. One in what looks like a garden and the last one in a forest setting. Each one is a peaceful sight and a site I would have no problem spending hours relaxing in.
