Tattoo artist Ali Rezvani created all of the art you see on this page.
The tanned paper gives them a beautifully vintage appearance. A kind of softening of the image that a white background would not be able to do as effectively. And I guess that if we are talking about a vintage look, the first drawing with the top hat answers that call loud and clear.
Amongst them there is a celebrity in the form of Jeffrey Dean Morgan. The two shows I know him from are: The Walking Dead and Supernatural. In the latter he doesn't appear as often as in the first, but it's still has a major role.
So many strong and subtle emotions come through the expressions that Rezvani is able to capture. This is not me trying to say I like everything because this is an artist we are featuring. Just look at every one of the portraits. Do you not feel that each one of them has something meaningful to say?
As you look through them, you will see that they have different levels of detailing and they walk up and down that scale between sketch and realism. Sometimes they do so within the same drawing.
