We have been following Gabriel Picolo, a freelance Illustrator based in Brazil, since the beginning of 2014, when he announced that he would draw one doodle every day of 2014. We wrote one post at the beginning of the year, then one in the summer and this will be the final one. Picolo has given us a year of beautiful drawings and we hope he will share with us more of his Art, in the future. The first doodle below is the last doodle of the series, I am sure you agree with us it is an amazing drawing, like the ones below it. Following, are links to the previous 2 posts we wrote about Picolo, just click the links:

Freelance Brazilian Graphic Designer, Illustrator and Moleskiner (Moleskine is an Italian company that produces sketchbooks, so people that create their art in it call themselves Moleskiners). Maykel Nunes has produced these lovely doodles. Unlike most other Sketchbook artists he uses the background of his sketchbooks to give context to his drawings.

French Artist Celiline describes herself as a non professional Artist, that said she would love to make this love of hers into a full time job. She uses her Moleskine book to produce Illustrations, Doodles, Drawings and Zentangles. Zentangles are attained by repeating patterns to create an overall design. These drawings are becoming very popular, not only their production, but also the colouring-in, that is seen as relaxing and distressing, sometimes used as a therapeutic tool.

Lei Melendres aka (Leight) describes himself as a "Freelance professional doodle artist and illustrator from the Philippines". What a lovely job title, I am not being sarcastic, it just shows how the world can change. Doodling used to be associated with wasting time, not concentrating in class, having your head in the clouds... and so on. Now it has definitely found a space in the art world, with his artwork being used for clothing, packaging, mobile apps and exhibited in local galleries. Melendres is in very good company on our site, see the Drawing-Sketchbook Folder (<= press the link), We hope you enjoy his work as much as we do. Do you prefer the doodles Coloured or Black and White? Let us know in the comment section at the end of the article. Once in the article you can enlarge the image by pressing it (not the first one).

24 year old Philippines-based illustrator Kerby Rosanes is an artist we have followed for a long time, below we have included the links to the other posts, covering his work on DesignStack. One thing we were impressed with from the beginning is his attention to detail and the complexity of his Moleskine Doodles. We suggest you enlarge the images below so that you don't miss anything (just press the images to enlarge it, not the one above). He has recently left his job as a graphic designer to pursue a self-employed carer, where he gets to decide the direction his work will follow.

It is always good to see art used for good causes and to progress the integration of a condition that many people don't know much about and might be scared to ask, on the off chance they might offend. Alex Solis finds a very simple but very effective way of teaching Had Signs. Solis uses a hand and hand drawn cartoons, to symbolise the the letter and to act as a memory recall tool. He has started a Kickstarter campaign which, is now fully funded and will be selling Prints and Originals together with the Signs & Doodles Book that he can now produce from the funds raised. More Pictures inside. Please let us know of other art out there that is used to teach, see a link to our Contact Page (at the bottom of the page) or the top right part of the page to communicate with DesignStack.

We initially covered Artist Gabriel Picolo, creator of 365 Days of Doodles, in March this year. This is a project that sees Picolo drawing 1 doodle every day of 2014. At the time we said that we would revisit this artist halfway though his project to see how well he was doing and to see if he had managed to keep his drawings to a high standard, as he did at the beginning. We are glad to say that his drawings are as good as they were then, covering popular films, cartoons, comics and many more subjects. Some of the more popular include, Game of Thrones, Frozen, Kiki's Delivery Service, Spirited Away, Alice in wonderland and much more. Let us know what you would like him to draw next, you never know he might see this article. We will do one final visit at the end of the year. Fantastic Doodle project by Artist Gabriel Picolo. He has set himself the task to draw one Doodle a day for the entire 2014. He started on January the 1st and is going strong. We hope he can keep the same level of quality through out the year, as he is right now. There, already, a lot of very good drawings, we have picked a few. The # number represents the day on which it was drawn. To get the best effect, once in the article you can enlarge the image by pressing it (not the first one).
