This artist goes by the name gorillabrigade (would love to know the inspiration for that name), doesn't say much about themselves so I will focus back on their art.
Their WIP like (work in progress) quality, coupled with the light touch this artist is able to give their portraits, really reminds me of a ghostly apparition.
That is not the only alluring quality, that keeps me transfixed on each drawing for what seems like ages. The subtle quiet expressions, that really pack a lot of intensity. The analogy that comes to mind is a shouting whisper. I know both are oxymorons; that said, it's the only way I can think expressing the link between the drawing style and the power of the emotions that they seem to radiate.
I really hope you can see the meaning of my words reflected in these portraits, making my thoughts clear, when you go through the page.
