Mostly black and white drawings with the addition of a painted little bird and snake.
Canadian Artist Magan Dann aka Magan1996 drew and painted all of the animals you see on this page.
A mixture of real-life animals and a fantasy one. The latter takes the form of the black unicorn.
All of these animals were created by Dann to be used as the base of a tattoo.
If it was you, which drawing would you pick? Which part of your body would you have applied on?
As far as my favourites are concerned, the following are my picks:
The first is the unicorn. The black fineliner used to add all of the detaining. The white areas are contained in the absence of ink. I like how it is turned around and looking right at us? What is that expression for? If there is a question hanging on that look, can you think what it is?
The second is the blue jay. It is possibly singing a lovely song... Love the shape of the bird and the colours in the feathers.
The last one I will mention, is the drawing of the leopard. It looks like a minimalist drawing, for all parts except for the eye. That calm, steely, fixed look could bore through anything it crosses.
More styles and animals to see beyond these three...
