The Animal Behavior Pencil Drawings

Graphite pencil drawings that mean to shine a light on animal behaviours as imagined by the artist.

Argentinian Artist Darío Mekler aka Themaze drew all of the animal images you see on this page.

Fantasy and surrealism are part and parcel of the beautifully weird world Mekler constructed.  They are snapshots of the lives of all sorts of groups of beings.

Most of the behaviours they adopt are taken from everyday human occurrences.  I say that, but the Roman tacticians?  I don't think people reenact that period of time.  I might be wrong...  : )
