Very interesting post that includes drawing studies, tutorials and a celebrity.
Piak Anastasiia drew all of the art you see on this page. She doesn't only create, she also teaches techniques on how to draw.
The list I wrote in the first paragraph also extends to anatomical depictions to show the different muscles. Specifically nerve and muscle bands that affect the look of our body. whether it's in a resting pose or an articulated one.
There are sketches, semi-realistic and realistic drawings. Plus, any of the intermediate stages you might find in this post.
One of my favourite pieces is also one I find strange. It definitely has realistic aspects, whilst being firmly non-realistic. I wanted to describe this before you go and look at it. Now go and see it. It's drawing number seven. It's of the eye and eyebrow and it comes in a blue-orange tint. The colours, by the way, are another thing that stands out in this drawing. It really is a fantastic piece.
The other one I like is the collection of eyes. The last drawing on the page. Fantastic, because it shows you how to draw them in all sorts of different positions and expressions. stacked like that, though, it gives them a beautifully surreal look and feel.
Which drawings do you feel yourself gravitating towards?
Ps. I gave the images some titles.
