The life of dragons depicted using Procreate.
American artist Travis Deming goes by the name of The Dragon Story. This artist drew all of the art you see on this page.
In some of these drawings, dragons take on behaviours that are very human. In others, they share their space with people. I will give examples of both these categories in a second.
The top of the first group has to be the drum-playing dragon. What is more quintessentially human? Then there are the scholar and the librarian. The puppet master is one that feels really inspired as a concept. So does the choir master. It's a fantastic and completely out-of-the-box thought. Even though I have given drawings titles, Deming's work is what is truly inspirational here.
Drawings 6-8-9 are the ones where dragons and people interact. They are sweet, caring scenes, where the creature... In fact, both beings show affection and friendship towards one another.
This post and Deming's work really help show a different side of dragons. One we don't usually come across and one that, for me, is a more interesting one. It adds a lot more scope when it comes to story telling. That is either with words or imagery.
Have fun going through these magnificent and mythological creatures.
Ps. I gave the images some titles.
