Such a varied and interesting colour palette. These are not the typical hues you would associate with skin or hair colour and yet, they look amazing. If you add to that the expressions and the proficiency with which they are drawn, you have a group of beautifully crafted portraits.
I don't mean beautiful in a good-looking kind of way. I mean good in a complete kind of way. Layers of attributes that come together to spell out the word beautiful.
In terms of favourites, I would say all of them. There are details that stand out in each one. That is the detailing of the hair on drawing 2. The golden glow of light in drawing 4 that picks up the wonderful detail of the face. In case anybody mentions light as external to the drawing... Presentation is a great addition to an artist's arsenal.
Moving along. I like the silent cool vibes that drawing 6 exudes from every line and detail. My last mention for this post is the pensive look on drawing 7's face. We don't get to see much of it, but enough to know that something important is being mulled over.
