This is the third drawing study post in a row. They are all different and I wanted to show another aspect of what it is to run a study.
In this case, it looks like Jahdi is focusing on drawing faces from different angles. Emotions and expressions are rulers in the little world that is this post. There are so many of them going off like fireworks, in each drawing and collectively.
I very much like the style that doesn't seem to be interested in a straightforward version of realism. They opt for what you might call realism adjacent. A form that stands proud in its own category.
As far as emotions and expressions go, there are thoughtful ones, ones in pain and the kind of happy that brings light to a room the same way a sunrise does after a long night. The one that best represents it, for me, is drawing 9. Have a look and you will see what I mean.
