Sam Larson is an American Freelance Artist, that likes to experiment with his drawing technique.  Larson draws drawings, within a drawing and drawings with various appendices on them, sometimes other animals,  whilst other times, scenery.  Sorry if that wasn’t very clear, but you will understand when you go through the post.  Plenty of variety for artist out there, that need an injection of inspiration to find their own style.

Turkish born Veevinci, has a Bachelor of Fine Arts, she is an Interior Designer by day and an artist by night.  This is a quote from her website: "I used sketching these buildings, as a means to gear my negative thoughts into creating art comprising of, complex buildings with intricate details."  We have seen it from other artist, that concentrating on producing art, puts them into a zone, that temporary shuts off the world and allows them, to concentrate 100% on what they are doing.  Veevinci says that she is fascinated with the intricacies of the details, past architects, adorned their buildings with and that is why she is drawn to them.

19 year old French Illustrator and Typography Artist Xavier Casalta creates amazing pictures using a technique called Stippling, where images are made up by an enormous amount of tiny dots instead of a thick layer of paint or colour (have a look at the last image it is a negative of the definition we have just given).  Casalta uses this drawing method to create images like the Tiger above, lettering and logos.  To get the best effect, once in the article you can enlarge the image by pressing it (not the first one).  Which do you prefer the lettering or the Tiger?  Let us know in the comment box at the end.

London based Artist Nick Gentry, constructs his canvas using: 35mm film negatives, VHS cassettes, X-ray prints, and floppy discs.  The assembly is not a random one, he has an idea of the image he is going to paint and he carefully positions his materials to create, contours, shades of light and dark, that are going to form part, of his painted piece.  He receives his materials from the public, who send him the items listed above, with a small description of what they contain.  The video below goes into more detail regarding his technique.

Coulrophobia - Images Nightmares are Made of

Argentinian Photographer and digital Artist Mariano Villalba works hard at making our Nightmares more vivid and more realistic, especially for the ones amongst us, that suffer from Coulrophobia (Uncontrollable fear of phobia of Clowns).  We have added a couple more of Villalba's images at the bottom, too good to pass over.  Given these images you can see why some people would have a negative reaction to Clowns.  It is a condition that is quite widespread with various levels of fear.  At the lower end, people just not liking them and at the other end, people that are petrified by them, rendering speechless and unable to move.  Are you one of these people or do you know someone that is scared of them?
