A wonderful collection of fantasy castle architecture drawings.
A Mexican artist that goes by the name of DracarysDrekkar7 drew all of the art you see on this page.
These are fantastic depictions showing towns in all sorts of settings. The architecture design is one that doesn't mirror a modern one. We are talking rural and more than a century back. No combustion engine and no electricity.
These... I was going to say human habitations, but we have no evidence that they are the owners of these buildings. The only signs of life come from drawing number 7. In this image we see sea serpents or water dragons and a flying ship. Not sure who is piloting and serving as crew on it. Actually, now that I take a closer look, there is a figure. Not sure if it's human, though. The being is walking up the path from the gate that leads to the water. Inconclusive evidence. : )
I like how the architectural styles vary from western to eastern. The locations of the castles conquer every terrain and include: Flat lands, hills, islands, high rock formations and more.
There is one setting that stands in surrealism. Even though there are more adventurous designs, none of them come close to drawing number 8. Here you have the conjunction of two realities. One on top of the other one. I wonder if gravity flips when you enter these worlds' joining building and you travel up and/or down it...
On this strange but very cool thought, I will let you go and investigate the wonderful detailing that awaits you. Have fun with DracarysDrekkar7 work and your Monday.
