Drawings that originated as an Inktober challenge.

Norwegian artist Sunny Myster drew all of the art you see on this page.

Normal animals, mythical creatures and a variety of beautifully strange ones. Don't worry, I will explain.

Let's start with my favourite. Third drawing down and the photo of Leo drinking a coffee. I love this drawing, especially the intensity of the expression. At first glance it looks like an angry one. You have done something Leo does not approve of. For me, that is only part of the emotion that is going to unfold. It's because that look hides dismay and resignation punctuated by a nod of the head. You don't see it right now because time is frozen. Were you able to press play on this scene, I am sure that those exact sequences would be followed in quick succession.

The fourth drawing down is more of an indictment of how bad we have allowed things to become on our planet. The bird has no idea how poisonous those materials are and it proceeds to construct a nest with them.

Drawing six is one that contains a lot of symbolism. It's the drawing of a tiger pouncing through a dream catcher and... Loads of movement and excitement to figure out what is actually going on. Is the catcher doing its job? Or does it mean that the tiger is liberating your dreams to expand and evolve in whatever directions they are taking you in?

Another drawing I truly love is drawing number 7. The silent suffering of the dog in a stoic pose, whilst the other one, more relaxed and effervescent, tries to loosen the attitude of its friend. So far, not working. : )

The last drawing I am going to mention is the baby dragon on its back. It's waiting for cuddles. On this sweet image I will end this portion and you can now go and appreciate these and the rest of Myster's work.
