An artist that changes the style, but keeps expressions at the forefront of his work.
Korean Artist Yun-Ho Kim describes himself as a "Photographer and doodler". One of the aspects I like most of his work, is the variety of subject matter he picks from. He is not always fixed on finding the perfect face with the perfect features, but rather, seems to explore different ages and different looks. Don't get me wrong I love those drawings, where the skin, has almost have a perfect porcelain finish to it, there is something really alluring about them. That said, there is also beauty in what are considered, by some, imperfections, like wrinkles, scars, not the perfect weight and features, or proportions, off of what we consider to be perfect. These to me are beautiful details, that add character and interest to a portrait, as the French say: "Vive la difference".
